1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Sergei Kharkov PR Beograd, Skendera Kulenovića 2, 11010 Beograd (Voždovac), Serbia (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data SlideQuill collects, why, who we share it with and what rights you have. It applies to the website https://slidequill.com and the Service described in our Terms of Service. We process personal data in line with the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Data we collect

We do not receive or store your full card details — payments are handled by Polar and its payment processors. Please do not upload sensitive personal data (for example health data) about yourself or others in presentation materials.
3. AI processing
To generate content, the text of your topic, uploaded materials and slide content is sent to our AI model provider, DeepSeek (Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd., People’s Republic of China), through its API. Short image search phrases (not your full text) are sent to the stock photo services Pexels and Pixabay. We do not use your content to train our own models. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.
4. Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, under appropriate agreements:
- Hosting — a cloud hosting provider in the European Union (application servers, database, files).
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — DNS, content delivery and protection against attacks.
- Polar (polar.sh, USA) — Merchant of Record for payments, tax and receipts. Polar processes your payment and billing details as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
- DeepSeek (China) — AI text generation, see section 3.
- Pexels and Pixabay — stock image search.
- Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA) — web fonts loaded by your browser.
- Email delivery provider — sending account and service emails.
5. International transfers
Some providers are located outside Serbia and the European Economic Area, including in the USA and China. Where required we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the provider’s certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Countries such as China may not offer the same level of data protection as the EU. If you do not want your materials processed this way, please do not submit them to the Service.
6. How long we keep data
- Account data and presentations — while your account is active; deleted within 30 days after you ask us to delete your account.
- Billing records — as long as required by tax and accounting law (generally up to 10 years in Serbia).
- Server logs — up to 90 days.
- Support messages — up to 3 years after the request is closed.
7. Cookies
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the Service to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and remembers your current work. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account. We will reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs) or with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and regular backups. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal data without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or on the website before they take effect.
